Autumn Colours
Autumn is a brief flash of colours before the bleak winters.The diminishing rainfalls contribute to the palette of greens, yellows, reds and all that is in between.
Tokyo has many spots to watch the leaves at their coloured best. But a desire to avoid crowds and some poor planning resulted in a limited viewing of the autumn bloom.
Most of the pictures are from Nishi Kasai, home. The only exception is a quick detour to Jingu Gaien(神宮外苑）on my way to a meeting.
When winter comes, all bare and wary, in blistering drafts, the scent of distant spring flowers will carry us through.
After all, Hope Springs Eternal!
